This page explains, in plain English, what personal data the 8KGermanyEurope website processes, why, and your rights under the EU GDPR (Regulation 2016/679) and the German BDSG.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for personal data processed on this site is the operator named in the Imprint. Email: info@8kgermanyeurope.com.
2. What data this site collects
This is a static website. It does not require accounts, does not run a backend, and does not collect personal data through forms hosted on this domain.
- Server logs. Cloudflare's edge logs may capture your IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and referrer for the purpose of operating and securing the site (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR — legitimate interest in security and abuse-prevention). Cloudflare retains these logs in accordance with its own retention schedule (typically up to 30 days for general request logs).
- Cookies. This site does not set first-party cookies of its own. The Tawk.to live-chat widget loaded on every page sets its own cookies and processes data when you interact with it — see Section 5.
- Analytics. No analytics tool is loaded on this site. We do not track visitors, build profiles, or share data with advertising networks.
- Local storage. A single key,
lang, is set in your browser to remember your language choice. It contains the valueenordeonly and never leaves your device.
3. Outbound links
"Subscribe" buttons on this site link to an external partner store on a different domain. When you click such a link, this site does not transmit your personal data — but the partner store has its own privacy policy that applies once you arrive there.
4. Hosting provider
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. EU representative: Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, c/o Mindspace, 80331 München, Germany. Cloudflare processes server logs and edge metadata as a data processor under Art. 28 GDPR. 5. Live chat (Tawk.to)
Every page of this site embeds the Tawk.to live-chat widget, operated by tawk.to ltd., 187 East Warm Springs Road, B298, Las Vegas, NV 89119, USA. When you open the chat widget, Tawk.to processes your IP address, browser/device information, the messages you send, and any contact details you voluntarily provide. Tawk.to is contractually a data processor under Art. 28 GDPR; transfers to the United States are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. Loading the widget itself is based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest in providing customer support); processing of chat content is based on Art. 6 (1) b GDPR (pre-contract / contract performance) once you initiate a conversation.
